    Job Title: Mainframe Database Analyst/Programmer
    Salary: up to €45k plus excellent benefits package
    Location: City Centre (North) (East Point)

    Responsibilities:
    • Support and maintain Rating, Billing and Accounting systems for existing and new clients. This will involve analyzing and fixing production issues and liaising with internal and external customers, vendors and development teams in various locations around the world.
    • As part of a project team, take responsibility for some or all stages of the implementation of new projects. This may involve meeting with clients and vendors to discuss requirements and project issues and supporting other members of the project team.

    Requirements
    • Excellent IBM mainframe, TSO, JCL, database/programming skills.
    • Adabas/Natural skills would be advantageous.
    • Experience in a financial computing environment
    • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of autonomy.
    • A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
    • Highly customer focused with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Proven experience working to and meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Other information
    Candidate may be required to travel and/or participate in an ‘on-call’ rota.
