Any body have any idea of prices for cleaning too? I have a nice big black piece of dirt on the sensor of my 350D and dont fancy going at it myself..

Conns do it instore while you wait for €20 or €25 euros - they do before and after shots and show you just how much gunk they remove.

Last time I had mine done was the first time ever and got it back pristine. Takes about 10 mins. Probably not cost effective to use regularly but for a thorough clean in a hurry its pretty handy.

Thanks Morlar, i guess changing the lenses all the time leads to a dirty sensor...its obvious that buying a second camera is the only solution so i dont have to keep changing lenses...its clearly more cost effective than getting it cleaned regularly...Maybe a ID Mark II as backup :D

If you buy your camera from Cons, they will clean it for you for free. Loads of times :-)
