Does anyone have any idea why my pc goes into standby mode while im on the net? It happens not long after connecting and then every 5 to 15 mins from then on. I guessed its some sort of virus but ive scanned loads of times with up to date software but it shows up clean. Any help would be great!!!

Try this. Right click on the desktop, and select "properties" then "screensaver" tab , then select the "power" button in the Monitor Power section , and then in "Power Schemes" select "Always On" from the drop down menu.

    Hope this helps

What the previous poster said and also you can select different time values for the monitor or hard disks powering down or going into standby.
