Had a quick look in today.

About 15 shops open incl. Karen Millen, Coast, Cafe coton (mens), Clarks, Sunglass world, Tog 24 (outdoor stuff), Le Creuset, Quicksilver (opens Friday), Levis / Dockers (opens Friday), Reebok, Nike, Molton Brown Starbucks, and a couple of others.

Calvin Clein Jeans & Calvin Klein underwear along with TSE Cashmere, Monsoon and a few others are fitting out an will probably be open in a couple of weeks or sooner.

The centre itself looks brilliant - open air and well designed shopfronts based on the National stud buildings. Prices whilst not amazingly low are certainly 25% - 50% below standard retail. Le Crueset is very good as is Coast. Levi's looks to be excellent.

Rumor has it both Ralph Lauren & Tommy Hilfiger will be joing the line up along with Burberry & Aquaqutum.

Its located on the M7 junction with Kildare Town.

    Starbucks were open yesterday.

Worth a trip down especially if you take in the National Stud as well or if going racing Sat / Sun at Curragh.

Its open air as well - not enclosed like many other centres and also is very well designed from a visual point of view.

might check it out tomorrow, not too impressive that their site is down the week it opens though!

Looks like the site was being updated - details of the stores are now up.

Only problem now is there will be no thrill going to outlets when on holidays!

What is the quality of the clothing like? I suspect a lot of it could be end of line stuff that didn't sell elsewhere (a bit like TK Maxx). Hope I'm wrong though.

was in there today, most of the shops aren't open yet so i'd wait if you were to make the trip down especially for it. Starbucks was open today, and it looks like it will be a very nice place

Was there myself on Wednesday, very nicely designed. It's like a smaller scale of New York's Woodbury Common while being integrated into the community and history of Kildare. You're right in that there are a lot more shops still to open, they say maybe 3 every 1 to 2 weeks. Worth a look and it'll only get better.

    Any tech shops opening here?

Just wondering if anybody has been to the outlet recently and if so, are the shops open (From the website it says there are still 2 or 3 to open) and are the discounts still as good as the opening week? :)
    Thanks

was there last weekend, still a lot more shops to open. was a bit dissapointed though, didn't get anything.

depends on what your looking for. i was interested in the le creuset pots and they are a bit cheaper. the nike store is quite good for bargains as well.

i think it's built by the same company that opens these factory shops in the uk, macarthur glen i think, so if you've been to 1 in the uk, i would expect the same shops would be open here.

Was there a few weeks ago, only about half the units were occupied, it's not worth travelling long distance unless you are also going to try Kildare town centre & a few more places.
