    Hi,

Is it possible to get a device that takes your signal that you have downstairs and brodcasts it throughout the house to be picked up a matching device that allows you to watch TV upstairs too. Im looking for a wireless device that can split the signal coming into downstairs and allows a TV upstairs to tune in without the wires going up the walls?

Just avoid the cheap one in Argos for €50. It's not great picture wise and the lack of an adjustable antenna didn't help in my cause. I ripped it out completely when the channels would change erratically, though I think a neighbour must have got themselves a similar device!

Problem I noticed with them, is that although the AV freq can be altered, the remote extender frequency can not. This is I'd imagine a problem with all of them.

Yep they all have channels A, B, C & D on 2.4Ghz for FM TV with two separate sound carriers (better than FM stereo) and a single 433MHz approx IR transmitter.

Erratic channel changes if someone next door has ANY model Sender and same Sat/VHS/DVD/TV controlled!
