First off, the knox thing is grand. Wear it.

The thing about leathers is that they are not waterproof. So with mine, I wear cheap raingear over them when it to keep them dry.

The next thing I use is one of them beeswax leather conditioner type polishes. I got a tub at the bike show in the RDS about 2 years ago and every couple of months I just wipe the gear down with a cloth then apply the wax polish stuff.

What it does is keeps the leather conditioned so it does not crack etc. My boots are still in perfect (albeit a bit dirtier) 2 years later.

    L.
