Good, I was going to get this. It is this one your talking about:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414852/

Tis indeed. Despite certain "reviews", I loved this film

    Looked good in the trailer....

....until I saw "From the producers of the Transporter"

That said, I'll prob still see it... Ph3n0m, can you say if its in any way similar to the transporter? Because I hated that film, and the sequel even more so, intensely, the biggest pile (s) of drivel I've ever seen in the high budget action genre.

Yeah i saw it and really liked it, th action is really well done, the dubbing is quite bad though

Decent enough action film ,some great stunts and manoeuvres.
I watched the subbed version ,the dubbed version is pathetic, the accents are a joke, some of them have inner city Dublin accents.
    Far better than the transporter

Havok - much better then transporter - especially since you dont expect Bello to break out "Ze germans" everytime he looks at the camera :)

Dont know about dubbed, went to see it in Cineworld and it was the subtitled version (always hated dubbed movies - much prefer the subtitled versions)

The time watching the movie just flew by - didnt drag at all for me. Lots of nasty bone crunching noises making the gf and me laugh, and getting a few stares from the other patrons :)

the transporter one had really good action scenes, to the best of my knowledge the second one had a different director, not the french guy, and was a big big pile of ****!!!!

    District 13, is fantastic entertainment.

    Saw this last night.

    Worst. Storyline. Ever.

But the astoundingly good fight and escapism scenes more then made up for any other of the movies shortcomings.

Absolutely stupid, silly, ridiculous and far fetched beyond belief. But great fun, and infinitely better then the Transporter, that's for sure! Not that, of course, it's in anyway similar to the Transposter, but just addressing that "from the producers of the transporter" tag.

I didn't see the Transporter because it looked stupid, but I saw "Banlieue 13" (Disctrict 13) when it came out on DVD in France and I have to say its one of the best movies I had seen in a long time. Action scenes were great and it was very impressive for a French film. They ar definitly moving up.

the french balieues(spelt wrong probably) particulary around paris are such a fascinating subject for me. its like what compton in the usa or something was like in the 80's.

I don't think they're quite as likely to feature professional parkour artists having gun battles though...

    *sighs wistfully*

    Good laugh, that film.
