I like them, the toning, and did you use Lens Blur?

Well, whatever it was, it looks like the old Vaseline on the filter trick!

I like the first one the most.

There was a centre selection unsharp masked and the outer edges graduated gaussian blur on them. Ps the first one was with the sigma 10-20 :)

The gate is not far from the goat pub in goatstown.

    Diffuse glow again? :D

I really like them, the gate is very cool. The last image really captures it well.

One of the pictures uses about 3 points of diffuse glow (2 of the 3 dont use any at all) - do you have a particular issue with diffuse glow - you seem to point it out anytime I use it?

Dont know about you but I find it can be useful to add into the mix of processing for emphasising highlights.

Sorry, its just that it seems so easy to spot once you've used it yourself. Although it looked like they all had it... Anyway, nevermind.

I just read that back and it did sound a bit snotty - so apologies if it did.

Yep - they are lit up at night from what I gather - there is lighting setup around it and I was told that they get some candles going too.

When I was there was about 9 or so (on the way to the video shop) - so couldnt really hang around. Not sure what time they light them up at. If you search back through the forum for 'dragons gate' - you should find another picture of what they look like when lit up.

    * went back for anothe look and here it is:

Personally I only like the third picture as I feel the other too are too blurry and kinda hard to make out. Just my opinion though.
