duno what the craic is with the city centre club (was on pearse street) but there is a club in Swords which, well, you can drive to from dublin 15. there's plenty of martial arts in the coolmine sports complex/centre if you want an alternative (judo for example).

    Hi Fredzer,

No Aikido in the Blanch area as far as I know. If you have a car we're about 20 minutes across the M50 Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.30-9.30.

Our group Dublin Aikikai Aikido also have dojos in Phibsboro, Fairview and DCU... Phibsboro is probably the easiest to get to if you're bus-ing it, have a look at www.dublinaikido.com for class times etc.

Other than that heres a link to all/most of the dojos in Ireland, you'll find a few in Dublin city centre http://www.aikidoinireland.org/admin/dispdojos.php3

Mate of mine trained Aikido with Ray and said it was good stuff.

Ray's a class instructor, explains everyting in detail and makes it easy to understand. Hope to get back to him soon enough!

I heard a man named Steven Seagal or something teaches out of some dodgy shack called SBG or something in Dublin. Apparently he can flip 300lb men 8 feet into the air with his pinky and take down multiple armed attackers at once with his super beer gut special moves

What's a pinky? Oh wait, thats an American thing isn't it? For your little finger?
