i'm new to paypal, i verified my account with the number that was on my credit card statement.

i want to lodge some money from my credit card into my paypal account so i can pay for something on ebay, but when i click on the Add Funds tab i get the following
PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account. You may, however, use other funding sources to make a PayPal payment, including credit cards and your PayPal account balance.

i dont see any option for credit card, so how do i actually add money?

    thanks

Im not too sure as I used to have an Irish account but living in the US now. Are you allowed to add your bank account to your Paypal?

if you're paying for something on ebay you dont need to add funds first. Open your ebay homepage and click on the Pay Now button next to the item you have won. On the next screen click the option to pay by paypal. It will then ask you to login to paypal. Once you have logged in to paypal you get up a screen with the details of the ebay item along with the option to pick a funding source. If you only have one credit card registered with paypal then it will automatically be picked. It should be obvious from there.

The whole Add Funds thing on paypal is of no use to people in Ireland that I can see. It is only for people in the US/UK who can transfer funds from their bank account and pay for things that way.
