After hours of searching and reading reviews i've decided to go for the Creative Zen MicroPhoto 8gb player.

Has anyone any experience of this player. If it's good or bad let me know.

The main reason for picking this player is the size (i think the nano is the next smallest in the 4gb to 8gb range), price and the drag and drop feature. I've no interest messing around with itunes, sonic stage etc..

Just one draw back i've found is that you don't get an AC charger with it. Are these readily available? They're 30 euro on the creative labs site. Does anyone know if these are available in Cork?

One last question. Is the Creative Zen Touch 20GB a bit on the big size?

Yes. Especially compared to a micro.

That looks gorgeous! Any rumours as to what 'coming soon' means in terms of dates?

August apparently, although I'd say September would be more realistic.

Have a look at the iriver e10. 6gb micro hdd, UMS support I think (no software), video capability, picture viewer (also acts as a universal tv remote, which is a ridiculous gimmick but could be fun!). Dunno if it's available yet or what the price will be.

    Edit: review...

My sister has a 6Gb MicroPhoto, had to bring it back to the shop for exchange after it crashed & wouldn't start up again.
    It's grand otherwise though.
