Anyone know of a site I can use to buy tickets to the UK by rail from Ireland. All I can find is Sailrail which is for the UK only.

    Thanks

If you mean combined sea+rail tickets the simple answer is that you can't buy them online.

There are 2 types of combined tickets available.

The standard tickets are a fixed price based on distance zones. There is no difference between ferry or rail companies, they can be used on any train without the need to book and the fare is the same booked in advance or at time of departure. Irish Ferries, Stena Line or Irish Rail will sell them. The fares are on the Stena or Irish Ferries websites, it is approx €40 one way to London from Dublin.

Virgin trains also do a cheap advance fare for London-Dublin/Dun Laoghaire only for £16 one way/£32 return if bought at least 2 weeks in advance. The exact journey has to be booked in advance and cannot be transferred to another train. Problem is it only seems to be available at UK rail stations or through the ferry operators UK phone lines.
