Last second bidding

Just wondering- if another bidder has a maximum bid setup, and I outbid the current bid with only a few seconds to go or even on the last second, will the other bidders next bid automatically win the item?

    I would assume so.

It depends on whether or not they have time to bid again, its a lottery

basically whoever has the highest maximum bid will win the item.

    say so arguments sake...

current bid is €1. set by your opponent.

you enter a max bid of €5.

then your opponent enters a max bid of €7.

auction ends without you placing another bid.

the winner is your opponent with a bid of €5.10 or something like that.

There's software, I think it's called sharpshooter, that'll make your bid as close as possible to the end. I don't know what happens if more than one bidder is using it though.....

Those tools won't work if a bidder has a max bid set bigger than yours, no matter how close to the end you bid.

Yes that's correct, the software or web-based tools to bid (snipe) in the last seconds is only to help you so if the other bidder has a max bid lower than yours they won't get enough time to bid again.

If you look in my sig you can use that, I been using it for about 2 or 3 years and never had any problems, it bids in the last 5 seconds.

Just to let you know that the link is a referral so I get 3 free snipes for each user that registers using the link below :D .

    Thanks
