Parental Control on FTV card

    I Have a FTV ard (new type) issued by the BBC from just before they started charging for them. My question is, can you restrict access to or delete the adult channel promos as you can with a sub card? I rang the new freesatfromsky helpsdesk to reset the PIN to be told in no uneratin terms "FTV ards don't have PINS" which I don't think is corret / true..Can anyone help..I know the PIN is generally the last 4 digits of the ard number by default but as this replace the older type FTV card then the PIN is as the last card number which I don't have.

    I think the only way to get round this problem is to subscibe to Sky (the cheapest, 2 mixes) for as short a time as possible and get them to reset the PIN whilst the subsciption is live.

    Of course, that may not have the desired effect on use of a UK FTV card afterwards.

    Yep the PIN is the last four digits of the FTV card that was replaced!
    I have seen that work personally.

    If you change the card to an Irish Sub then the PIN is the what ever pin is on that or the card that it replaced!!!

    The pin is associated with a particular card, not the Digiocx.
