Electric picnic tickets?

I'm told they're sold out. I don't give up that easily. Anyone know of anywhere still selling off the last of their allocation...?

Just heard on the radio they're all gone but rang local agent and she said ticketmaster may be releasing more....I really hope they do

Elec Pic was the reason I didnt go to oxygen.
Crap didnt think it would sell out camping.

MCD release tickets in the run up to Oxegen every year... but I don't think it's a tactic POD subscribe to. Did they do it last year?

Seems odd that it selled out immeadiatly after Oxegen though.

Ive been told that those tickets that went on sale just before Oxegen, were just tickets that were bought with stolen CC's and Credit cards that didnt go through properly (addresses not matching card holder etc) When MCD tally up all the tickets that were sold and given out free (2fm etc) they release the remander.

Tad strange though that ye could still get those sought-after Oxegen tickets right up to the day before the festival started... must've been a hell of a lot of stolen credit cards.

And the amount of people reselling... I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of those folks had an ulterior motive. Too bad MCD soiled their chances of making a quick buck.

Left it too late as well. I thought that a few months ago they said the capacity would be 35,000 this year, while the statemnet on the official site mentions 30,000 and definitely no more going on sale. not too happy now as I was waiting to see the full line up before buying

I dont think its too odd it sold out so soon after Oxegen. Im amazed it didnt sell out sooner but it was never going to last much longer after Oxegen.

There was always going to be people who didnt get Oxegen tickets who when Oxegen went whistling passed realised that Electric Picnic was their next best option. Also people who enjoyed their Oxegen weekend enough to want to do another festival would be a significant number of customers.

There was an announcement made just before Oxegen that there was about 1000 tickets left on the official forums so Im sure that announcement also paniced a few people into snapping up one as well at the last second.

Id say there may be a small smattering of additional tickets closer to the time just from the same credit card issues etc but nothing in the region of the number of the oxegen ones.

head on over to the forums at electricpicnic and post a request for a ticket in the ticket exchange forum.

If you are lucky you might get 1 and its going to be face value if you do.
