If you live near a train station, you get the train into Drumcondra and hop on the 11 or 13a out to DCU. Or the 39 in town, and then catch the 19a, 11, or 13a out to DCU from Westmorland St or O Connell St.

Thanks for that info. I thought there might be some other link bus or something.

The 220 runs between Blanchardstown (Ladys Well Road) to Ballymun (Ballymun Road). It takes about 35-40 minutes off peak, dunno what its like during rush hour.

Train via Drumcondra is probably the fastest though if you live near a station.

This is what I do. Can get you there fairly qucikly if youre lucky enough to find a bus heading to DCU outside of Drumcondra after you get off the train.

The other way is to get a 220 or a 40d if you are on those routes and get off in finglas village and either get a 17a and walk down from the crossroads at the ballymun road junction.

There is not 1 direct bus.

the 13 doesnt stop at phibsborough till past the canal, doesnt stop at the shoppin centre

best bet is the 220, less effort involved
