the words "flogging" and "dead horse" come to mind. He's been milking the Rocky thing since 1976 when the movie won an Oscar.

hes flogging it because people want him too , hes made other very big movies and for a time he didnt have to make rocky but he did ( thankfully ) cus people wanted him too , the movies are hammy near the end of the series but f**k me there good fun and the original is one of the best of all time , stalone basically winged his way to being a multie millionare , no REAL trainning no previous writhing experience nothing and he still kicked ass you gotta respect the guy !!!!

Can't wait for this. Love the Rocky movies. Even the fourth one, which is outrageously silly, is brilliant. Haven't seen the fifth one though, but not really as gone as it since its not Sylvester himself in the ring....

Doesnt look as bad as I thought it would and you have to admit that Stallone is in great shape for a 60 year old. I just hope its better than the 5th one which was pretty poor. Also I hope the movie acknowledges the fact that he is very old at this stage. From the trailer it looks like it will so im happy.

No offence taken your just words on a screen ..Rambo has not been confirmed and in a recent interview he said he had let the rambo project go because of the whole helping afhganastan thing in rambo 3 ,

That trailer looks good and it leads me to have even higher hopes for 'Rocky balboa'. I'm really looking forward to it.

This teaser clip from the film has most likely been posted already but I'll post it again. It sends chills down my spine, heh.

PS: It's not the teaser trailer of Rocky talking that emerged a couple of months ago, it's a different clip of Rocky walking through the tunnel in the stadium before the bout.

If you go to rockybalboablog.com there a clip of him walking into the stadium its preety cool , does this mean sly is back ?? hopefully ! cus besides the rock and bruce willis there realy isent anyone who hold a candle to him in the action fronts now that arnie is outa commision , this movie was shot for like 35 million and lets face it its gna clean up everyone knows someone who f**king loves rocky so hes coming back ..whats you fav other sly movie besides rocky and rambo ?? Whos for lockdown ? or demolition man ??

Now that would be deadly, Rambo 3 was pretty rubbish but in fairness they don't make sheer cheesy action movies like they used to - Commando, Red Scorpion, Rambo, Navy Seals, those kind of movies seem to have dissapeared....

Im a huge fan of Rocky and cheesy 80's films in general as it was my main movie watching era growing up, but this film just doesn't seem to sit right for me.

Its a pure money making episode (although all movies are) - but it just seems so,so wrong.

Jebus! You could at least understand Rocky having a meaningless scrap with Clubber Lang because he insulted his missus, but getting back into the ring "because of a computer game"? That's about as weak as it gets.
