It's great, but you'll appreciate the remoteness once you get there.

Must sees are Kalgoorlie and Margaret River. One on the edge of the desert and the other is a Mecca for surfers (oh yeah, great vineyards too!).

Try to go north along the coast to Murchison Gorge and Kalbarri. Further north is Monkey Mia and Denham. You can swim with wild dolphins in Monkey Mia and Denham is a huge beach comprised entirely of tiny shells. There are loads of buildings in the town built with the shells.

Have you any idea where you're going to stay? I stayed in the Mount Pleasant area, which was really nice.

    Have a blast, I'm jealous!

No idea yet, i would be put up by relatives at first for a couple of weeks as i find a job and then I planned on moving into the city. The live in Manjora. I am trying to get my friend down tonight to do some planning. My only worry is that we are there from June to the start of October, thus no super hot summer.

No you definitely wont get the hot summer but the weather wont be that bad, the aussis find it cold but we are hardend to it. Its funny to see them wearing a scarf and gloves with sunglasses.

I was there for a month between Sept. and Oct. and the weather wasn't too bad at all... A bit like May here, a bit of rain, a bit of sun, but it was quite windy along the coast. I got a pretty good tan too!
