    Hello,

First time posting here, just wonder when I could expect the all ireland hurling final tickets to go on sale on ticket master or could someone point me in the right direction to pick up one or two,

Decided this year I will make my first trip to Croker

It'll be a brilliant day. Croker is magnificent when full.
As for the tickets, I dont think you'll be able to get any until 3 weeks before the final unless you get a corporate box ticket (they're usually available earlier).
As for ticketmaster, the GAA usually dont sell tickets for big games like these through ticketmaster. They only sell through them for smaller games that aren't sold out.

I would suggest writing to your county board applying for tickets or when you find out who's in the final, get some1 in that county to source some for you.

    They'll be like gold dust.

hmm? So you decide to go to croker for the first time this year for an all-ireland final??? If its the first time, you are gonna have a rough time finding a ticket. Its tough anyways for anybody who isnt a member of a club or works in guinness

Why not go to a match any weekend in Croker.

You will be able to get tickets for the leinster final this weekend on ticketmaster

Thanks I will try writing to the county board.

Why I picked the final is because I am from munster and I think it is fair to say there is going to be at least one team from munster in the final.

Been to the the munster final for the past few years, going the step furhter this time.

Any other advice would be appreciated

Pretty unlikely you will get a ticket id say, they are literally like god dust. They almost all go to the clubs as well.

...another way is if you know anyone working for the big companies that may own corporate boxes, you should get on to them to source some.

Companies such as BOI, Guinness, O2, Vodafone, eircom etc. should all have corporate boxes.

if you want to go to croke park and see "Munster" teams - why not go on July 23rd when there will be 3 Munster teams playing on the same day in the hurling q-finals - Clare v Wexford, Tipp v Waterford. and you could also catch the other 2 Munster hurling teams in Semple stadium on July 21st when Cork play Limerick and galway play Kilkenny.

If you want to see teams in Croke Park, go any Sunday from now on. You can't just expect to get a ticket for the All-Ireland Final if you are not prepared to go to the matches those teams play in before that. Both Football and Hurling teams from Munster will be in Croke Park over the rest of July and in August. Your chance of getting a ticket for an All-Ireland Final are very small. All-Ireland Final tickets are not sold to the general public. There is a special distribution system, so unless you know someone, forget it. So take the chances of going to other games between now and then. The atmosphere at those are just as good and the final is not always the best game of the year.

    Sunday July 16th - Leinster Football Final.(Dublin v Offaly)
Sunday July 23rd - 2 Hurling Quarter Finals. (Clare v Wexford and Tipperary v Waterford)
    Saturday July 29th - 2 Football Qualifiers. (Donegal v ?)
    Sunday July 30th - 2 Football Qualifiers.
    Saturday August 5th - 2 Football Quarter-Finals.(Armagh v ?)
    Sunday August 6th - All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final.(Cork v ?)
    Saturday August 12th - 2 Football Quarter-Finals.
    Sunday August 13th - All-Ireland Hurling Semi-Final.(Kilkenny v ?)
    Sunday August 20th - All-Ireland Football Semi-Final.
    Sunday August 27th - All-Ireland Football Semi-Final.

Plenty there to choose from. So if you want to experience Croke Park at its height, there are plenty of opportunities there, and it doesn't have to be on a day that a Munster team is playing. Any of those days will be good.
