hi anyone got experience with sky tv, the problem is my mothers house
is that anytime the wind gets high the picture starts to go haywire :(

i've spoken to the sky man who installed the system but he doesn't know
where you can get extra supports (very exposed site) they only attach
a single bracket to hold the dish

anyone know where you can buy extra wall brackets in order to steady
the dish? i have tried around cork but to no avail:confused: and i didn't want
to start making up a supporting bracket for the dish, any suggestions
    greatly appreciated.

You should try the satellite forum. They're a very helpful lot and I'm sure someone there will know.

You'd probably get a better response to that question here (Satellite Forum) I'd say for a Mod to move it, but I myself posted in a thread a while back in it was moved and a certain Mod decided he'd Permanently ban me for what I had written on a board completely outside his jurisdiction.

Where exactly on the house is the dish positioned?

Would it be possible for the dish to be moved to somewhere more sheltered?

thanks very much everyone for the information,

i hadn't realised there was a separate satellite tv forum.:)

i'll try there, byte, the dish is situated on the side of the
house, i'm afraid it's the only place where i can place it, just a few minutes
ago the phone rang with a complaint from senior management that the picture
is moving again with the wind today:D , i'll post on the other forum

    thanks again
