Leffe... on Draft anywhere?

Is there a pub in the country with a flowing tap of Leffe? It's a great beer, but, like our own black stuff, there's no comparison between the blonde bottles and blonde draft.

Anybody know a pub that serves it .... anywhere ?

not a chance of getting it on draft in ireland, I would think. I've never seen it but any pub that had it would be my new local.

Had this in Brussels a fortnight ago.. think it was Leffe Du Blonde.. the lighter of the two.

Was a lovely beer.. but Hoegaarden won me over more than that did over there!

Haven't see Leffe on draught not alot of Belgian pubs have it on draught usually bottled, Its a trapist beer don't think it will happen.

Leffe is probably the nicest Blonde beer alright, love all the trapist beers...

Leffe isn't a Trappist ale. Only those beers brewed by Trappist monks can carry the title. Leffe is an Abbey beer, though they did try to market it as Trappist but we're prevented from doing so. For real Trappist beer try Orval or any of the Rochefort beers. There's a world of difference.

It is, but is usually only found in places that have lots of tap lines owned by C&C. Paris Texas in Kilkenny is one such.

Contractual rather than ownership based. Manage marketing (and some production) of certain InBev products in the UK and Ireland.

Yes, C&C is the agent for AB InBev in Ireland. I guess it's a throwback to when Interbrew owned the Tennent's Brewery in Glasgow. When C&C took that, Interbrew closed their office beside Dublin airport and gave the distribution job for all their beers in Ireland to C&C. A bit like what Molson Coors Ireland is now planning to do.
