communal showers at oxegen

unfortunatly i'm not at oxegen, but apparently there are communal showers in place , the catch is you have to wear swim wear . Will it work ? sounds fun, wish they were in place when i attended festivals . Was it a good experience for those attending (i'd say so !!) ?

Sounds like a brill idea, although with the rain thats promised I doubt they'll be needed

That would be a great idea. Would have been better if they had them last year when you would be sweaty. But this year the rain will do the job. I'm nearly glad I didn't go!!

its funny, rain actually makes me WANT to go to oxygen. Mudslides and steaming mosh pits.... and needless to say, wet tshirts. In the mosh pit you don't actually get wet below the shoulders anyway because everyone is so tightly packed.

I wonder how they are going to actually enforce the "swimsuit rule" in the showers?

yea thats true come to think of it!i would have bought wellies if i was going aswell so would be able to jump in the puddles....awwwww.....damn you

Possibly the first festival to be called Oxeygen to have showers, but I think they are pushing it a bit if they think its any more of a first than that.

Im convinced every festival Ive went to, in the 8 years Ive been going to festivals, has had the communal showers rumour float around. Its never been true.

ps festivals 8yrs ago had hot showers at them.
