    [Jul 7 16:58:30] : Showdown!

I think the calls on the flop and turn are more likely to be a flush draw or a weaker J because I would expect a raise more often than not on the turn with a 2.

When I check the river and he pot bets I expect it to either be a complete bluff or else the 2.

    Analyse/Discuss/Argue

    Thanks.

I'm not checking the river here but I fold to a raise.

Your line looks fine here. I cant see him having a two here very often unless its A2s or something similar.

I don't think a semi-weak J calls a 1/2 to 3/4 pot bet here, maybe QJ. Thats why I check and give him a chance to bluff a busted flush draw.

    My thinking too.

Good point but in the OP you state you have 'zero info on villain' so why lose a value bet when for all you know he just checks his busted draw?

I like your line here too, and agree that it's unlikely he has a 2 but I can't see any value in raising here, I can't see any hands that you beat calling. Similarly with a River lead...

Basic poker technique no 102, when an obv draw misses check oop with mediocre hand in order to induce bluff. For advanced players call so quickly that it humilitates your opponent into playing even worse.

Question for players with tribeca .5/1 experience.

What do you think his river bet means most of the time?

    From experience I think bluff.
Some people might be thinking that if I'm sure about this then why bother posting at all...well....screw you. :)
    I could always be wrong.

I prefer to take an age over calling so it induces them to think they can push me off a hand next time they miss their pair draw.
