The inimatible Beverley Beaner Riley Boys runs tomorrow in the 19.40 at Beverley and has to overcome a poor draw (albeit in a narrow field), a marginal hike in weight and a change in pilot if a repeat of past performances at this track are to be repeated. C&D winner although recent wins have been over 10f however the change in jockey and the low draw give me teh shivers.

Wing Commander drops in weight and came in third behind Riley Boys on 27 June at Beverley after being ridden to lead 1f out to head inside final furlong, only to lack any closing ooooomph. Currently available at 9s, has been drawn wide at 8 and wears a flattering pair of Armani's latest Cheek Pieces for the first time ...... seems like a temptation for a place at a nice price.

Small flutter on Riley Boys out of a sense of loyalty together with a place or each way saver on Wing Commander for kicks will be on the agenda.

I have always liked Alfie Flits and she out in the 3.50 a Sandown tomorrow. I see on sportinglife the betting forecast says she'll go off around 7/2 but I think that seems a bit crazy for a horse of her standards. I say by the off she could go close to 2s maybe evens

Kill St Ann in the 18.15 at Wexford seems to be shortening. Anyone know or hear anything ?

I know it's the favourite but Alfie Flits in the next at Sandown is my nap for today. Done very well last season and looks like he's still improving. Don't think Mulaquat has got what it takes to compete and there's very little else on the card to get enthused about.

As an added plus, I've been trying out a little system over the past month that's seen me in profit at the end of 4 weeks out of 4 and according to that system, this horse is a winner.:)
