I was listening to Pat Rabbite on the radio yesterday lambasting the government on closing the Dail for such long holidays when there is so many important issues to be debated and legislation to be enacted. I thought that this was very hypocritical as I can't remember a government which included the labour party reducing…

I was listening to Pat Rabbite on the radio yesterday lambasting the government on closing the Dail for such long holidays when there is so many important issues to be debated and legislation to be enacted. I thought that this was very hypocritical as I can't remember a government which included the labour party reducing these holidays ? Also, didn't the labour party make a deal with Fianna Fail to allow the Taoiseach off with one less day for Q and A a week in return for more speaking rights in the Dail ?
