Has anyone seen this? Sci-fi from 1985, made in New Zealand. It's about a man who wakes up one morning and finds that he is apparently the only person left on Earth. It is not a very well known film but is a gem IMO. There are some striking and very memorable sequences in it. There are plenty of flaws in it too but overall…

I first saw it on BBC2 about 13 years ago.

Yeah I remember seeing it years ago. I'll have to try and track it down. It was a pretty good flick.

Sounds like The Last Man on Earth, which is another great film, with Vincent Price. They are making another remake and Will Smith is playing the lead... at least it will be better then the first remake with Charlton Heston in The Omega Man, which was crap...
