    Hallo,
    Can someone help me?

I'm probably being extra think but I can't figure out how to set up an ftp connection using dreamweaver.
My main problem is that I have no idea what the ftp address is.
I'm using the soho hosting pack from blacknight and it says that I should be able to use ftp to upload files.
    Can you please help??
    :o

Oppps is this in the right section?

    Read the welcome email.
Perhaps the information is provided via CPanel or whatever they have...
    Have a look through http://www.blacknight.ie/tutorials.0.html

    It's ftp.yourdomainname.extension (e.g. ftp.mysite.ie)

to connect to it, open a command prompt and type
    ftp ftp.mysite.ie

They have already supplied you with a username and password.
You then put filename to put the file onto their website.

Hands up who got a website with Blacknight in the last two weeks :D

Oh I think it's going to work now..
I can access the ftp site wehn I type it in manually but when I test the connection in dreamweaver it says that the username or password is incorrect.
Is it different for uploading files?
    I can't find the welcome email :(

open a support ticket with blacknight
    http://support.blacknight.ie/

get filezilla to upload your files to your website.
