after a week of trying for some reason i just cant seem to stream divx or xvid to my 360 as a media extender, i've followed a few online guides, one is http://www.jakeludington.com/xbox/20060321_easy_divx_to_xbox_360_streaming.html which seems work better in theory but i still havent got it to work and the other is http://www.mperfect.net/mceDivX360/ which i tried and seems a little more complicated but kept getting video error when every thing was set up correctly and checked a few times, does any one have a good detailed guide of how to do this or any advice cheers?

A rough guide to setting up ur 360 with a MCE pc or just for watching avi/divx?! Install the trancoder thing on ur pc, leave it running, then turn on ur xbox go to media center, when u find the file you want to watch then press "info" on your remote and go to transcode, or something, you'll see it anyway!
