Is it possible to have both a TV Antenna for RTE/TV3/TG4 and a digibox for freeview channels connected via the TV In and the S-Video In, on the TV card and tune them in with MCE. I only seem to be able to able to choose one or the other input. I can only get the Irish channels or the freeview channels with MCE. Anyone come across this.

From what I understand MCE doesn't support multiple EPG guides which is why what your trying doesn't work but there was some thread on The Green Button where someone hacked MCE to do this & that's pretty much all I know on the subject. I cant recall the exact thread it may have been this so I'm not sure.

I'd try hunting around the plugin sites to see if anyone has released some software to do this as well.

Also there is another hack here that allows "easy" switching between inputs through MCE so you might be able to get the Freeview working through that if you get Freeview through a STB.

The first link suggests that with 2 tuners you can set up a coaxial TV aerial on one and a STB connection (S-Video) on the other. Have them both seen through MCE but only use one EPG. That should work for me. Will have to get another tuner card.

The second link suggest you can switch between the inputs from the one tuner to make use of those inputs. As far as I can gather the other inputs are not being used for TV. So I will give the first link a try.

It might be a while before I get it up and running. Will let you know.

    Thanks
