Im moving my entire bank role from PPP to GJP.
Now I was wondering if there are any advatanges in moving my BR in portions as oppose to all at once.for example if there are any reload bounces or things like.

    Q2)
For those who have been playing or have played 3/6 6max games on Tribeca for long enough and are winners. what do you think is a sufficient BR to play this?

    I wouldn't play 600NL 6max with less then $20,000.

And I'd say you are better off moving it in one big lump.

6k if youre onetabling, double that if youre multitabling.

20k is only just over 30 buyins so its not exacltly overkill.

The max buyin at 3/6 is €450 anyway right?
$12K would seem grand and jump back down if you hit $9K

    450 per buy in
    20,000 /450 =44
even though 44 is over 30 buyins but its not "just over" 30 buyins.

pokerplaya referred to 600NL, meaning the max buyin is 600. You are referring to tribecca 3/6 I see so yes 20k would be overkill. But of a mixup there oops.

Firstly if your bankroll is small enough that you are not bothered enough whether it gets bust or not then obviously it doesn't matter.

    Otherwise totally agree with pok3rplaya,
Once you have a few grand together you should be as strict as you can - something which I preach rather than practice i'll admit!

Playing well within your comfort zone makes things a whole lot easier, I think for no limit play I wouldn't blame anybody for wanting a minimum of 50 times the buy-in, after all if you multi-table you can build a bankroll handily enough.

I'm taking a break from poker for now but when i get back to it I'm going to be keeping it simple for any pot limit or no limit game I'm going to have at least 50 times the buy-in in my bankroll - well that's the theory anyway ;)

I'm not saying this stuff lightly though I've blown a 5 figure bankroll twice now both times from hitting a bad run playing $1000 NL cash games when it should have been $400 nl absolute tops, painful when it happens i'll tell ya... so be patient and learn from mine and others mistakes... basically poker players being what we are should try to be as strict as pos with your bankroll.

Dont listen to any of them gholi, stick 10k in GJP as your playing roll and another 10k on prima to have a shot at the 50/100 game (a one buyin br should be enough to beat that game they play so bad)

Depends on your playing style, I would be happy with 9k to play 3/6 on GJP, max buy in is only 450 not 600. The tighter you are the less you need. with our loyalty scheme and sponsorship fund I doubt it is worth playing anywhere else as the more you play the more you earn (obviously biased but true as far as I am aware).

Check that PPP €-$ rate is the same as that on GJP. Sometimes the Tribeca sites have different rates at any one time, usually only small but this can magnify with a large BR such as yours :)

Makes no difference if you have a euro account with both.
