Once you go though the international dateline you'll be gmt-

I went through it going west from Chile to New Zealand and it's confusing alright as we lost an entire day. It was the 30th of October when we left Chile and the 1st November when we landed in New Zealand. No Halloween for me that year :(

Tokyo + 8hrs but I'm convinced this country is running in the wrong timezone.

Sunrise at 4.40am and sunset at 7pm?? I'm heading up to the city office after this to complain.

We're going to Oia (Santorini) for six days and then Athens for three days. We went to Greece on our honeymoon about two years ago, so we wanted to go back before we start having kids and being grown-ups. Course Mammy's not too pleased that we won't be making it home for Christmas because of that, but anyway.
