    Hi all
What about classic jaguars? I like XJS very much. Are there any problems with them? Are they expensive to run and restoration? What about spare parts and service? Thanks for any help...

Problematic rustbuckets tbh. I should know, I've had 4 of them and the newer ones are worse than the older ones.

Did the face lift models from 1991 onwards not have a better body (galvanized) from the pre face lift ones?

Also a 4-litre version of the AJ6 engine called the AJ16 was installed in them from 1991 onwards.

The V12 5.3 HE model was upped to 6 litres though in 1993.

I really would like a 95 one though with the 6.0 lump, sweeeeet!

But to answer the original question.....
Yes you can get a nice one in the UK and there are so many available thet you dont need to jump after the first one that comes along. If available get one that been waxoyled and has a full Jaguar service history. Parts are available but as with most Jags parts they will cost you. To bring in one from the UK with a 3.8 engine from around 86 will cost about €800.

    Hope this helps!
