Got the card - now how do I get channel 4?

    Got my card yesterday. Put it in the Sky box and expectedChannel 4 to materialise somewhere. But no sign of it. There must be something else I have to do?
    The card seems identical to the one the Sky box came with.
    Can anyone demystify this process for me please?

    Leaving it in the box overnight did the trick for me.Apparently they need "updates" or something like that before they work.

    If it's been activated, wait.

    It may take 2 or 3 days (leave the box connected to the dish and the mains and either switched on or on standby).

    I presume you're talking about a UK Free To View card? It's just that you haven't actually said.

    'Cos if it's a normal Irish sub card Channel 4 won't appear.
