    Hi Guys,

Like almost everyone else in the world I have a black samsonite suitcase. At the top, there is a zippered flap whose sole purpose is to conceal a short strap, with a three pronged clip - like € . Does anyone know what it's for? I know the description is a bit vague, I'll try to get a pic. My g/fs suitcase has the same thing, although it's a different make..

It may be a strap to allow another Samsonite bag to be clipped on and carried on tow with the main bag. I often see flight crews pulling two or three bags behind each other but only using the handle of the main suitcase.

I think its for hooking your garment bag onto your main bag.
