Corsa Gear Knob

    I'm looking to change the gear knob in my Opel Corsa 5 door. I've read that they usually pull off but is this true. i've tried to pull it off and twist it but no joy. Anyone know anything more about it? Should I heat it before attempting to remove it?

    If its a corsa b we're talking about it does just pull off they are only glued on.
