    Hello everyone,

    here it is again, the event that took Dublin Ultimate by storm last year and aims to do so again this year - The Dublin Summer League! Starting on monday July 17th at 6.30pm and continuing every monday evening until late August the League will be a 6 team mixed event open to beginners, intermediate players and world superstars. The focus will be on relaxed, fun Ultimate and on encouraging new players to come and get involved. More information at www.geocities.com/dublinsummerleage (dates and match schedule to be updated).

    There will be friendly and tasty pints in McCloskeys afterwards and on the final night an organised party in town for a fun session. Sign up as quick as you can by emailing dublinsummerleague@yahoo.ie for an entry form.This year the league will cost €5 a head to enter in order to cover pitch rental, trophies etc.

    All are welcome so please pass the email on to anybody you know who might be interested be it adults or teenagers!

    ___ 5: Confident handling and know some of the strategy.

    ___ 6: Have every throw including break throws and hucks.

    ___ 7: Extremely solid player all around or very skilled in a position.

    ___ 8: Won Worlds in 2004 and have been improving solidly since then.

    Where is the venue? I'm presuming it's McCloskey's in Ranelagh you mean for pints afterwards?

    The venue is Herbert Park in Ballsbridge.

    DAmn it if I had known about this earlier Id have joined up. Although i was away for a few weeks so wouldnt have been much point. DAmn it, Im really annoyed now
