Hi we're in the process of building an eco house. We have some very consciencious German builders taking care of it for us. I've just started to research the kitchen as this is the part they don't include.

Can anyone advise me of what products are not good 'eco' wise? as in pvc etc? I want a high gloss look but I'm just trying to get some info before I approach the kitchen shops. I suppose the most envirnomentally frendy kitchen would be soldid wood of some type but do any of you know of a good high gloss option - laminate?

    any tips appreciated.
