Judo in Shannon/Limerick region

I was wondering if there is any Judo classes being run in or around the Shannon/Limerick region?.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

The only judo club I knew of was in UL. I don't know if it there now as the numbers were small and their was no one to teach it. Sorry that does not help you much.

The judo club in UL is a thing of the past. But you'd never know, maybe somebody will try to restart it come September. Failing that there will be BJJ/submission wrestling training back on in UL in september if that's any good to you, or if you don't want to wait that long check out the link in Gers sig for training over the summer.

I think someone needs to get going with a judo club in Limerick. I presume the mats are still in the college somewhere so what they need is someone to start teaching classes. I'll make a few phones calls see what happens

Mike Carroll, the instructor of wazakai combat club holds a black belt in judo. I am sure that if there is enough interest he would start up a class teaching it again. His school is based in Limerick city.
