Does Playstation damage LCD screens?

Hi I just bought a 37" LCD HD ready TV. I wanted to use it for playing playstation aswell as digital TV.Was just wondering if playing computer consoles damages LCD screens as i heard they damage rear projection screens.I can't find any info on the web.Please HELp:confused:

shouldn't do any harm to LCD screen (a completely different animal from a rear projection screen). high intensity CRT's as used in rear and front projectors are vulnerable to burn in from static images like you'd get with a playstation.
