I loved that short. I remember I had a video with a few of them. Another one was "Mr Jones is Late" or something and had Tommy cooper and somone else (could have been Freddy Starr?) trying to get a coffin to a funeral, and even taking it on the bus. Feckin' hilarious. Pity comedy went down hill after that lot retired/died.

edit: just checked, it was "Mr H is Late"! Well worth checking out.

I have one of the Plank films on tape, think it's the 1967 version.

Another one alone the same lines that I saw on TV was "It's Your Move"

Thought The Plank was only the reserve of males born during World War II.

I thought Its Your Move was better thee were a few more of those all-star shorts knocking about. Mr H is Late and Rhubarb Rhubarb for example.

    Mike.
