    Hi guys,

Just wondering if you could help me out here. My Dads 50th is coming up soon and we want to get him a laptop. He just wants it for surfing the net, typing and stuff like that.

We don't want to spend to much, looking at aroun the 700 quid mark.

Is Dell the best way to go? Do they give much trouble or are they easy to use?

    Cheers.

Dell is good as anyone if you ask me. Everyone will have there own views on each company. I have had mixed experiences with every manufacturer.

I got my Da a dell for his 50th 2 months ago. I was well pleased with the laptop. He is more than pleased also.
I will soon be buying myself a entry level laptop from them. They are cheap and chearful and do everything that your state your Da requires.

Good luck with what ever you decide to buy.

    Dell 1300 all the way.

Cheap, nothing too fancy, exactly what he needs.
