Now that the Vision:M is no longer supplied with an AC adapter in the box, you should be able to buy them seperately in... wait for it... shops that sell Vision:M's...! (Such as Peats, Dixons, Harvey Norman, etc. etc.)

    No.

Although if the French example is followed, it may only be a matter of time...

Does anybody know is this works with the Zen Vision M? I don't fancy the €40 Creative one.

Doesn't look like it'll work with it, Lodgepole, no. Can't be sure though.

As an alternative, an iPod charger (the USB Port on an adapter one) should work on it though, via the USB connection on the cable that comes with the Zen.

They stopped supplying a charger? That's fairly fecking cheap.

    Bad form.

    should work fine.

Its designed to work with anything that can be charged via a usb cable.

    same voltage...

That one outputs a dismal 5V DC, 300mA max, thats below USB charging speed (ie 3+hrs). The Creative one outputs 2400ma (ie 2.4amp).

Also, the VisionM will not charge over USB from a non-PC device, it has a dedicated Nokia style charging connector though. The €40 Creative one is a WW Adapter, there is a cheaper "Europe only" option:

Dixons are selling one for €15, universal adaptor with variable voltage..you have to click the thing over three times or else it doesn't charge...

Had to buy one because it needs 2.0 USB port and mine's 1.1.....and it needs XP too to out stuff on it..I have 2000. Grr!
