A few for today in no particular order

    KEMPTON - 7:56 - LAURELDEAN EXPRESS

I backed this horse on her debut because I'm a big fan of Eoin O Neill. A lot of his juveniles tend to run well at decent prices. The jockey made her work hard but she impressed me with how she kept staying on. She will get a mile plus in time. For now though, the step up to 7 from 6 should be ideal and if Richard keeps her up with the pace I think she should win well.

    CHEPSTOW - 8:10 - HARARE

An unconventional choice this one and more of an e/w choice. This is probably the worst race that Harare has ever competed in and he gets in off a low weight of 8 stone 10. Travels well and always seems to be there or there abouts...great you think...what's the catch?

Well....Harare is still a Maiden after *ahemm* 16 starts...but bless him he does try. They try an extended trip for him today and I'm picking him out for two reasons, 1 - He'll most likely be about 25-1 and 2 - He'll never get a better chance to win a race.

    BELLEWSTOWN - 5:30 - OUR HENRI - Stablemate won

I'm really chancing my arm with these selections. I put forward this one over the weekend and he didn't do much (50-1). However, he did travel well enough up with the pace and just faded (quickly) in the final furlong or so. As I said at the weekend, this horse is thought of and will win some races. The drop back to 5 will help and at another big price (probaby 50-1 again) I wouldn't be surprised to see a different horse to the won that failed at the weekend.

BELLWESTOWN - 6:00 - Menelaus Not good enough

Showed marked improvement in his run behind Marcuson last time and I think they'll expect a win in this company tomorrow night.

And just my luck Harare is now a Market mover with PP and ladbrokes best priced 10-1.

Worcester 3.40 and 4.40, Martin has too decent enough horses running. Paticularily like Poker Pal in the later race, he was a bit unlucky on his last outting with Ruby on board that day.

Bogside Dancer is the runner in the first race.

Not going mad on these by any means as heading to Bellewstown for the next three nights.

Having one of those days today - have done Lord Mayfair twice now as an outsider at approx 16/1 when its been placed 5th and 7th and of course today didnt do it and it wins at 40/1 :(

Am hoping Paddy the Optimist running in the 4.40 at Worcestor might make ammends!

Meant to add sharp hat to that list above...think the old timer has a lot in his favour today.

    Two more

440 WORC Paddy the Optimist (as already mentioned).
this should finish in the first two, nearly always get to placings. WIN NAP

7pm KEMP Spirit of Conniston was due to run on Sat(I think) was N/R, goes well enough at Kempton, good price (5or4's) lowish weights, expect this to get result.
Danger> Forest Dane, other one with quality, could do rev forecast with these two. dont rate Heavens Walk(ropey fav)

Had a couple of bets today - ended up about level - but had too much on Classic Approach at Bellewstown. Thought it only had Ease The Way to beat, who I thought might not be ready first time out, but thanks to the talents of Barry Geraghty I collected, when I probably shouldn't have. The runner up will be one to watch in Galway. Good man Barry.

Sounds like the makings of a good system that.

Can you please explain what you mean by this?

LaurelDean Express lost in a photo finish, was up a lenth before the line...dunno what happened...Harare, finished 3rd, would've taken that last night actually.

EDIT: I just saw that Harare went off at 9-2...for a horse that I thought would be 25-1...well that's just funny.

Looking at the Laureldean Express race...well I still can't believe it lost

Unplaced -led till weakened badly, normally runs better last 6 races always placed. Prob a glitch, normal service to be resumed.

Heavens Walk<deserved Fav, >DOH! shows what i know, absolutely hacked up, very quick finishing pace(even with a pen for this race) should figure NTO.
Spirit of C>started well, up at the front from get go, lovely pitch ran well, quickened to lead (could'nt find an extra gear for the line) >3rd
Forest Dane came thru the pack to get up with Spirt >4th
HW went by these two like they were one standing still.

LaurelDean Express was very unlucky to get mugged by a 20-1(16?)shot on the line.
