poppy seeds

    I have poppys growing wild in the garden. If I collect the pods, i get poppy seeds. Are these the same as the poppy seeds you buy in the shops? can I eat them? Do I just use them as is, or do I need to cook them?

    Just dont go for any drug tests after eating them. :)
