Has anyone out there had any experience with a Fuji FinePix S1Pro Cam?
I cant find much "experience revirews" on the net, and its looking like the only cam that I might be able to afford to replace my 350d.
    Cheers all
    Jay

No my 350d got stolen along with 50% of all my gear!!
    Lol their 250euro on ebay.
No dont worry, I just need something in the interim so as I can get back shooting again to make some cash to put towards a decent SLR and lenses again.

Is nobody selling off a 300D for that kind of money? Do you have any lenses left at all?

*note to self: get camera on house insurance asap*

That's seriously crap that you lost your gear. Seriously.

I have 1 lens tripod and filter set left.

Yeah put it on there as a named item otherwise they tell u its not their responsibility as i discovered ;)

So I have very limited cash at the moment cause I just moved back home from paris and no gear so I desperatly need something cheap but usable to get me thru the nex while.

    Canon D30
    Fiji S1
    Kodak DCS520

seem to be my 2 options I think.

My dad has one of the wee p&s canon numbers, it's got a lot of manual options and it's metal cased, really sturdy, think the kodak ones are less so. have you checked out what steve thinks? - www.stevesdigicams.com you get stuff like startup time, example pics and other detailed stuff there, it's a good one.

Yup thats wher i got most my info on the S1 from.
Id prefer to stick with SLR, Im used to shooting it now. and going to P&S in low light I find aint a good idea.

    Nope total budget roughly.
Looking at bout 250for a body. I have a lens if I can get a canon D30 or the KodakDCS(Its EOS mount). Otherwise I gotta get lens too.
Or at least if I cant sell my laptop which is for sale. If I can sell that my budget goes uo tp bout 750 or so.
