This didnt affect me at all, but I'm surprised there wasnt a thread about it already :)
Services at Dublin Airport have been returning to normal after a security alert which caused massive disruption for two hours this afternoon.

Gardaí say the terminal is now operational and flights have resumed.

However, the Dublin Airport Authority has said that most flights have been delayed by between one and two hours.

Passengers who have concerns regarding their specific flight should contact their airline.

Roads around the airport have also re-opened but there are still delays to traffic in the area.

The alert started just before 2pm after a man walked into the arrival hall at the airport and claimed he was carrying a bomb.

The man was arrested and the terminal buildings were evacuated while a bag he had been carrying was checked by army explosive experts.

A spokesperson for the defence forces has described the incident as a false alarm.

The spokesman said that when x- rayed, the bag was found to contain items of clothing and paper and it was not necessary to carry out a controlled explosion.

Approximately 9,000 passengers and 50 flights were affected during the two-hour disruption.

What I find funny is that it took them 5 minutes to evacuate the building. Thats good. Then it took 2 ****ING HOURS for the bomb disposal people to get there, then only about 20 minutes for the place to be reopened.
