Restoring shine to paint job?

    My wifes car had a panel sprayed prior to her buying it.Is a little duller than the other panels and I would like to bring the shine back up on it.Any ideas? Its a dolphin grey metallic. No replies about bringing the car back to where i bought it.It wasn't crashed just scraped but got bad paint job done

    if you had said it was shinier than the others, you would probably be advised to give it a good waxing or even bring it to a bodyshop to get a compound. if the newly painted panel is duller, it sounds to me like it was a bad job. often, car sales companies will give their panelbeating to the cheapest bidder. same thing happened to my sister's car a couple of years ago. she made them do it again.

    if the finish is fairly rough, there probably isn't that much you can do apart from polishing it a lot!
