I would like to know if this could be correct or not. It said that I am due a refund of €1034 for 2005 only. It said also that it will cost me €154.8 to process it. This all sounds a bit fishy to me. Just say I get nothing in return and I still have to pay that processing fee? Im not sure how this works. And worse case scenario I OWE the government money, then Im realy fúcked! Please advise me. Thanks.

No you only pay if the fee if you have money due. Why dont you just claim the tax back yourself and save the €154.8?

Go to this post and have a read of all the people who have gotten money back without going to that rip-off website, you can do it yourself, this is your money and it is easily claimed back taxrefund.ie is a waste of time and money, either send off an email or go into your local tax office and sort it out FOR FREE.

If you are doing it in Ireland just go into the tax office with all your details P60/P45 etc and they wll do it for you. Its very simple, if its outside Ireland its a bit trickier

Thanks for the reply's. I live in Ireland so I will send a letter to my local tax office. And after reading the mentioned thread, I know not to send the original P60.
