Is that snow or photoshoppery infra -red effects ?

Its a great shot either way. I like the overall composition and the contrast in the tree trunk and the way the leaves stand out against the sky.
Also the colour of the footpath - it all seems to work very well.

In that case its more impressive. Did you use a web tutorial for it ? Have you come across any good links on how to get that effect ?

It works for me. One small thing (there's always one), I think I would like all of the tree in the shot. I like the effect.

Class photo, I really like it. I bought an infrared filter in the US, which I am having loads of fun playing with. Unfortunately its a 58mm diamater filter and only fits on my kit lens, which doesn't sit well with me at all. Ah well.

    I like that photo. :]

Groovy, although I would like to see a tighter crop on the road. The change in shape of the road on the lower left of the photo kinda distracts me. Overall a very nice shot though.

I know what you mean about the shape of the road being distracting.i tried different crops and even trying to clone the grass verge to make the road straight, but i wasn't happy with any of the results so that was the best compromise for me in the end.For those of you who asked how i did it,i firstly used an infra red action that i found this morninng then i worked onwards from there.I have been trying to find it again so i could share the link ,but no joy.i do know that it was on some adobe site.I presume i could just mail,or pm the actual atn. file to anyone who wanted. Thanks to all for taking the time to have a look and give me your opinions.Much appreciated.:)
