Im going to buy a dvd burner and im just a tad curious to how I install it... Ive put in a dvd drive... so im not sure if its the same kinda thing or not !?

Im guessing I take out my old cd burner and just pop in the dvd burner and plug in the ide cable (if thats what its called) and the power supply for it then it should work automatically !?

It will indeed, just make sure the jumper settings on the dvd burner are the same as the old one you take out and you are set.

Picture of the jumpers below, similar to what the rear of the drive will look like (right of the picture)
